In a statement released Thursday, Boscov’s CEO and Chairman Jim Boscov announced big news for Bed Bath and Beyond customers. 

The department store is inviting all Bed Bath and Beyond customers to bring their mailed BB&B coupons to any Boscov’s store and exchange it for $10 off any single purchase of $50 or more from now through May 31.

The company’s CEO described the announcement as a way to make those coupons useful while introducing shopper to Boscov’s at the same time. 

“They’ll find that we carry many of the same products they’re used to seeing plus a store full of other departments including apparel, cosmetics, jewelry, handbags and more,” said Boscov in a statement. 

He continued, “Beyond that, customers will also discover that they don’t need a coupon at Boscov’s to get the good prices.”

Now in its 109th year in operation as a full-line, full-service department store, Boscov’s currently has 49 stores throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. 

Boscov’s offers many customer-friendly services, such as a year-round military discount, a gift registry for every occasion, a hassle-free return policy and free curbside pickup. 

On April 23, 2023, Bed Bath and Beyond officially filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and announced its intention to wind down its operations after several failed attempts to turn around the company over the past several years. 

Tuesday, April 25 was the final day that the retailer accepted coupons.

In reaction, Boscov’s is doing its part to ensure they don’t go completely to waste, and customers can still obtain use out of them. 

Boscov’s is part of a short list of retailers that are accepting Bed Bath and Beyond coupons; a list that also includes Big Lots, which includes a deal where customers with BB&B coupons can get 20% off an order of more than $50 through May 7; and The Container Store, which is offering 20% off any single item for BB&B coupon holders through May 31. 

All Bed Bath & Beyond stores are expected to close by the end of June 2023.
