With clothes and a shooting set marked by the colors blue and orange, the "new" Aitana presented her new video clip "En el coche", where she makes clear her ambitious evolution towards an electronic pop sound. Days before, she generated great expectation with a preview of the song published on Tik Tok, which exceeded 2.5 million views.

After the success of her previous remix “Mon amour”, Aitana returns with a predictable format and without too many risks. The Spanish singer, who with her aesthetic tries to emulate the great pop divas, intends to make a leap in her career.

After her previous works "Spoiler" and "11 razones", which enjoyed reasonable success in Spain and America, Aitana looks ambitious. "En el coche" reminds the aesthetics and melodies of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga or Madonna. Pop with a lot of synthesizer, and a performance with a powerful choreography and skillfully dancers around her. It is a short song, just over two minutes, where she goes straight to the point.

 

“When you touch me and, alone in the car, You and I in my house are going to finish, Dancing like this”, she says in the chorus. The Catalan singer, clad in a metallic suit, puts a partying and modern sound to classic flirting lyrics.

Aitana already tried electronic sounds in “Formentera”, which clearly succeeded and accumulated more than 20 million views on YouTube. In addition, she reached new audiences. With her new song she has gone a little further, and she claims to be a consolidated diva of the pop genre.

“En el coche” aspires to be a radio hit, one of those that will probably be played on a loop at the next summer parties. The video clip of the song, directed by Iris Valles and Alba Ricard, was carefully produced by The Panda Bear Show. All this contributed to create a very different register from her traditional style. Aitana became famous after her participation on the television program “Operación Triunfo”.

The video clip is not a representation of the lyrics of the song, which is about two passionate young people who progressively connect until they end up together in a frenzy night. Instead, the shots focus on Aitana and her dancers, with multiple cameras capturing their captivating moves.

Aitana is currently recording the series “La Última”, and soon will participate in the solidarity concert “Stand Up for Ukraine”, where stars such as Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, Kay Perry or Alejandro Sanz will also perform.
