After several rumors, on Monday, Jan. 31, it was finally confirmed that Rihanna is pregnant with her first child. This was seen in some pictures that showed her walking with her partner, rapper ASAP Rocky, through the streets of New York City.

The famous couple confirmed that they are expecting their first child with a series of images taken by photographer Miles Diggs. The pictures, taken under the Williamsburg Bridge in Manhattan, show Rihanna's belly several months pregnant. 

In addition, the photographs portray the style that the couple has always been known for. ASAP sported baggy leather pants, a denim jacket and hoodie, and Rihanna stepped out modeling a long pink coat from Karl Lagerfeld's Fall 1996 collection for Chanel, unbuttoned to reveal her belly along with several layers of jewelry-filled chains. 

The couple, both 33, have known each other for about nine years, but their relationship, according to several media reports, reportedly began in 2020. Both have kept their relationship under lock and key, and away from the media spotlight.

On social media, the reactions of their fans were fast and many. Many joked about how lucky the baby will be to belong to Rihanna and ASAP's family, while others just made posts surprised by the sudden news. 

Five years ago, Rihanna stopped performing on stage to dedicate herself to her personal projects, which until then were in the background, such as her cosmetics company Fenty Beauty, Fenty and Fenty Skin.
