Shakira announced that next Wednesday, Oct. 19 will be the release date for a song featuring Ozuna that has created quite the buzz among her followers due to rumors surrounding her now defunct relationship with Spanish soccer star Piqué.

"It wasn't your fault... nor mine. It was the monotony's fault," is one of the lines in which Shakira has revealed in the lead up to the song's drop.

On her official Instagram and Twitter accounts, the Colombian made a post shared with Ozuna, featuring a clip of the song and an image of the song's title above a heart stabbed with a dagger.

"A little king with a super queen," Ozuna wrote on Instagram.

The singer's followers claim that this new song is dedicated to Piqué, since she has stated in several interviews that this episode in her life has been "the most difficult and darkest."

According to information published by the Colombian newspaper El Tiempo, her new album seems to have no limits, as Shakira said that: "Every time I enter the studio to touch up a verse or to mix a song that is almost ready, I end up with good music."

"Monotonía" will be the follow-up to "Te Felicito," which she performed with Rauw Alejandro and charted at #1 on the Billboard Latin Airplay chart, and also reached #1 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart. It also reached #10 on the Hot Latin Songs chart.
