The second film in the saga reunites well-known actresses Bette Midler (as Winifred "Winnie" Sanderson), Sarah Jessica Parker (as Sarah Sanderson) and Kathy Najimy (as Mary Sanderson) as the Sanderson sisters.

Mexican-American actress Belissa Escobedo, 24, has also joined the cast of this film. Escobedo, known for her work on Don't Look Deeper, American Horror Stories, Sid is Dead, The Baker and the Beauty, plays the character of Izzy, one of three students who bring the iconic witches back after nearly 30 years. years.

The second installment of Hocus Pocus will also feature Whitney Peak from "Gossip Girl", Lilia Buckingham from "Dirt", Froyan Gutiérrez from "Teen Wolf" and Tony Hale from "Veep".

“Hocus Pocus 2” is directed by American choreographer and filmmaker Anne Fletcher (“Dumplin” and “The Proposal”) and produced by Lynn Harris (“King Richard,” “The Shallows”). Ralph Winter ("Hocus Pocus," the "X-Men" franchise), David Kirschner ("Hocus Pocus," "Chucky") and Adam Shankman ("Disenchanted," "Hairspray") will serve as executive producers of this comedy that combines fantasy, laughter and terror.

The movie, called "Abracadabra" in Latin America and "The Return of the Witches" in Spain, will be released on September 30 exclusively on the Disney + streaming platform.
